My touchpad gesture is not working.

I have tried installing Synaptics and Elantech drive from acer website but still the issue is not resolved.

Current divise installed is PS/2 Compatible Mouse.

Kindly give your segessation.

Go to Device manager, expand Human Interface Devices and post the snip please.

I don't see Human Interfae Device option in my system

Hi,

Go to BIOS(Press F2 as soon as you press Power button), go to main tab and see whether the touchoad is in Basic or Advanced mode. If it's in Basic change it to Advanced mode and press F10 to save settings and exit BIOS.

touch pad was in Basic, I have changed it to Advanced.

Hi,

Click start(Windows logo), click the wheel(Settings), click Devices tile, click Touchpad in the left pane, you can change the settings in the right pane, scroll down the page to get to Advanced Gesture configuration.
