I have an Aspire e15-575g-54u7 laptop which is only 2 months old and it has a single dead pixel in the middle of the screen. My screen resoultion is 1366x768. So it's pretty noticeable. Is this covered with my warranty? I have a 2 years of warranty. Also i tried to fix it using the lifehack methods.. but seems like it's totally dead.

Most Mfg allow for a few bad pixels. I am unsure of Acers policy on this. Long term I would live with it then upgrade to say 1080 Fhd display. Store old as backup. Guess can search Acers policy on pixels but as I said, never seen any with 100% zero defect promise.

Thanks for your reply.. Btw is it possible to upgrade my display to a 1080p one? Because the current one is 1366x768.

Yes you should be able too. It is rather easy to change out.

Basically run the hardware info tool to get current display model. Once you have that can determine display upgrade. Guessing you should very very likely be able to use same i and many others upgraded to. AU Optronics B156HAN01.2  Can buy on Amazon. Found vendor called East Coast LCD's sells this exact panel. Just search "exact b156han01.2" on Amazon. Best upgrade I did to be honest. This is a 1080 ips type panel with great brightness, color and does not show any blur.
