Problems will freezing or taking long to load
Hi, having problems with my new acer aspire s13 freezing or taking very long to open up documents like word and chrome. This is a newly purchased laptop (purchased last week) so it shouldnt be acting up so soon. I was wondering whether anyone else has had/is having the same problem as me? - It doesn't happen continuously, probably once a day at some stage but is annoying all the same since i am interupted during research and other work because i have to wait for the laptop to respond again! Any suggestions as to what the problem could be?

Click Start(windows logo), right click Command Prompt in expanded Windows System, type sfc /scannow and press enter. Make sure the space between letter c and /, instructions are here in this link and follow the option two:

In a newly purchased machine, it is likely to be getting a lot of updates. Can check status at Start>Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update.

BIOS and drivers are in link below. Or there might be an Acer Care Center app on your computer that will allow you to update any BIOS or drivers to the latest.
