Acer AT3-710-ES61 how to add SSD

Just bought a Desktop: Acer AT3-710-ES61: Intel i7-6700, 8GB, 2TB, Win10. Wanna to add a SSD - Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 520MB/s Internal Solid State Drive. Do I need to buy a new Power Cable AND SATA III Data Cable?

    your PC has only 2 SATA ports, so you need to disconnect the DVD drive to be able to connect the SSD.

     

    by the way, you have the possibility to mount a M.2 SSD instead of SATA SSD, since your system has one M.2 2280 SATA3.0 port.

     

    so my suggestion is to buy a M.2 2280 SSD
