After about 10 minutes it becomes a white screen and I cannot get out or even see the cursor. I just have to turn off the computer and start up again since there is no other option. Any ideas of how to get rid of white screen?
Have you tried connecting to another monitor or TV?
Do you get the same white screen?
No, its not the m onitor. I bought a new Dell monitor just to make sure, since the old monitor did not have HDMI and I thought that might make the difference, but no, the white screen shows up on the new monitor also. I think it has something to do withthe graphic card in the computer but I am so unfamiliar with that stuff that I don't know how to address it. Steve
download this Intel VGA drivers:
then press windows logo key + x
click on Display adapters
right click the Intel graphic adapter
choose to uninstall and tick to uninstall software too
then install the downloaded driver.
Check if you get white monitor after a while.
you can also try to boot to BIOS pressing Del and let it here for a while and check if monitor became white too.
