    Gabriel22,

There's a way to easily unlock some models Insyde H20 advanced settings, but unfortunately I don't believe it will work on your E5-571G from what I've read.  And I couldn't tell you how to do it.....even if it would work.

You're probably going to have to check a BIOS mod forum.

I don't think Acer is trying to be mean by not letting you access the advanced settings.

I've been reading this forum for a couple of years,  and trust me when I tell you this......it would cost Acer hundreds of thousands of dollars in profit losses from Customer Support and warranty service charges if they made the advanced settings available/visible.  It's a losing proposition for them to enable any advanced settings.  It probably costs them tens of thousands of dollars in profit losses just from having the settings available that they currently have now.

Novice users, intermediate users, and even some advanced users, go in to their BIOS/UEFI settings without hesitation and mess up their computer on a regular basis.  It isn't pretty to observe on this forum. About as cringeworthy as it gets.

I don't work for Acer.....just my personal opinion.

    I'm not an Acer employee.

How to tell if Virtualization Technology is enabled on Acer computers
How can I tell if Virtualization Technology is enabled on my Acer computer?

Some Acer systems have Virtualization Technology enabled by default, if the system support it. Use the steps below to confirm if Virtualization Technology is available on your system:

Press Ctrl + Alt + Del.
    Select Task Manager.
    Click the Performance tab.
    Click CPU.
The status will be listed under the graph and will say "Virtualization: Enabled" if this feature is enabled.
Note: Acer does not provide assistance configuring virtualization.

Hope this helps others as well.

you can also press left Ctrl + shift + esc to open task manager directly.

    here more infos about Virtualisation:
Most of recent Acer laptop models support both Hyper-V and VT-x* (not AMD CPU models), they are both enabled even if those options are hidden on BIOS.
If your laptop has an Intel CPU, you can check if you CPU/system supports virtualization instructions, using Intel Processor Identification Utility:
If your laptop has an AMD CPU, you can check if your CPU/system supports virtualisation instructions, using AMD Virtualization™ Technology and Microsoft® Hyper-V™ System Compatibility Check Utility

Devices using Windows 10 Home will need to upgrade home to Windows 10 Professional or Enterprise to use Hyper-V. Windows 10 requirements can be found here:

    * If Hyper-V is ON, VT-x will not be available; Hyper-V must be OFF to have VT-x recognised by virtual machines.

    Turn OFF Hyper-V
Open a Command prompt with administrative rights (Admin)
    type
    bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
    exit

    Reboot your OS

    or

Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features -> click Turn Windows features on or off -> un-check Hyper-V -> click OK

    Turn ON Hyper-V

Open a Command prompt with administrative rights (Admin)
    type
    bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype auto
    exit

    Reboot your OS

    or

Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features -> click Turn Windows features on or off -> check Hyper-V -> click OK
