    • Need ethernet and pci simple communications driver for Acer 5742-7620

    in 2015 Archives

    I don't know if I am on the right board or not but I am in need of drivers for the ethernet controller and pci simple communications controller for my Acer Aspire 5742-7620.  I checked the Acer website and non of these drivers are offered.  Thanks for your help.

      Windows logo key + x
      click on Device manager

      if Yellow exclamation mark is present
      double click on it
      choose "Details" tab
      from dropdown menu, select HardwareIDs
      click on the first value and copy/paste it here

      scroll down to drivers and choose 32 or 64 bit
