XB241h monitor display buttons not working

Hi folks,

First time post here. I'm having some problems getting my new XB241h calibrated. Mainly, the problem is that I can't get two of the buttons at the bottom of the screen to work. I bought the monitor from Acer certified refurbrished. When I first opened the monitor, they didn't work. After some punching and poking, eventually they worked if I hit them at a certain angle. I really don't want to have to send this thing back because I love it and will be monitorless for who knows how long without this thing. But I really need a way to get those dang buttons to go down! Anyone had a similar problem, or have any ideas how I can fix this (really minor) issue? Thanks!

Edit: To clarify, it's the button that scrolls up or left in the menus that I am most concerned about. The other, non-functional button is the shortcut to gsync activation/inactivation, but I can still access that from the other menu. And on top of all that, now the power button is acting up and I can't manually turn off the power!

This seems like a hardware issue. You can always get in contact with the Predator Help line (866-517-2237) to verify your warranty policies.

Well, this is very odd, but after I shut the monitor down for the night, I turned it back on, and all buttons were magically working. Any idea why this would be the case? Or at least what variables could be at play?

Regardless, I was able to finally alter my brightness settings and saved 3 profiles, including one with all values set to zero (so that if the left/up button ever stopped working again, I could adjust by picking that setting and just cranking the levels up to where I need them).
