Hi,

due to twice problems encountered during 2 major upgrade of my windows 10 familly last week and 6 month ago, I decided to check my Bios.

I was then running Windows 10 Familly and uploaded from ACER support site the file BIOS_Acer_1.13_A_A.exe.

My data are saved. So no issue about this.

I executed this file and the PC had to rebooted.

But horrible surprise, now I get these messages in this order :

menu 2.jpg

menu 3.jpg

Welcome to help me. I don't know how to come back on the Factory bios ?

I don't know what to do ?

Have a nice day.

Henri

Boot to BIOS pressing F2 and then press F9 and then F10.

check if you are able to boot to windows 10.

    if not

enter BIOS again pressing F2 and go to Boot tab, check if is set to Legacy, if so switch to UEFI, press F10 and reboot.

    Hi,

Thank's a lot. You proposal option 2 worked. But I was in UEFI and I did the change to Legacy. And it worked.

Do I need to go back to UEFI. What is the difference ?

I will spend a better night.

    Regards.

if your installation was done in Legacy mode, stay on legacy.
