Why am I unable to update my Iconia A3-A10 Tablet?

I seem to be having a problem updating my Iconia A3-A10 Tablet...I go to "System Updates", and I keep receiving this error message: Acer Live Updater: Failed to update due to network or server problem. Please try again later.  0006:70AB71D5

 

The version I currently have: Android Version 4.4.2

    as far as i know, you have the latest version available.

     

    about the error, can be a momentary server issue, by the way, when you check for system updates, you are just asking the server if any new version is available, not that an update is available.

    Yes, I have gotten the message saying, "System Is Up To Date"...so do I have the KitKat version or Jellybean? And also, I've had this tablet for almost 3yrs, shouldn't it had updates in the duration of me having it this long?

    4.4.x is kitkat aka KK

    updates releases depends on software bugs, issues that need fixes and brand politic on updates; if you never had an update...probably Acer has thought that your product doesn't need it.
