First I want to state that I hate Windows 10.

I have an Aspire Switch which came with Win 8.1 and I was very happy until I choose to upgrade to Win 10. BIG mistake. This awful OS, installed itself and also installed itself in the recovery partition !!!. So no way to revert to the factory settings. Before the upgrade I made a recovery media in a USB drive which I do have it now, but missing the eRecovery management, it disappeared after the upgrade. Don't know what to do to go back to my sweet Win 8.1. And basis what I read, there is no eRecovery management as a download. Why Acer left so many customers in despair. Please help. Thanks

    Hello,

The 8.1 recovery media you created with the Acer eRecovery Management software should be able to boot on its own. Power off your unit completely. Insert your USB drive. When you turn the computer back on and see the "Acer: Explore beyond limits" logo, press F12 repeatedly. Depending on the model this key may be different but for most models this will open a boot menu that will ask which device to boot from. Choose your USB drive and the Windows 8.1 recovery process should begin.
