Product registration: My level of frustration has never been so high

I have an Acer Aspire Switch 10 (SW5-012-16W, still under warranty) that is stuck in an endless INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE loop. I have tried every fix detailed in the knowledge base and here in the forums to no avail.

 

I have been trying to register my product on the Acer site in hopes of getting technical support. When I try and register the product under my account, I get the following message, "An error occurred in your request. Please try again in few minutes". I have tried multiple times, on multiple computers, always with the same error message. I have tried every single permutation of the serial number by switching zeros for O's and vice-versa.

 

"Great", I thought, "I'll just start an online chat". Well, since the system will not recognize my serial number, not possible. "Hmm, guess I'll just call customer service and speak with someone". Again, without the Acer system recognizing my serial number, I can't even speak to a human.

 

This is an endless loop of absurd, Orwellian frustation that I have yet to experience in my lifetime.  I'm a bald guy, but if I had hair it would be pulled out by now.  

 

Would someone from Acer please be so kind as to reach out to me with a solution so I can get this customer service issue resolved??

    Did you try entering the 22 character serial number in all upper case to see if it will register? If it still will not register, can you please send me a private message with your serial number, so I can look into this?

    I am right there with you! Worst customer experience of my life. They have forgotten "the customer created their business. I have computer 2yrs and 7 mo old from their mfg date and it does NOTHING!. THIS PROBLEM IS ON INTERNET YET THEY WANT CUSTOMER TO PAY FOR THEIR MFG DEFECTED ITEMS. I AM DONE!

    Shouldn't be rocket science. If customer to perform in any way other than obvious "INSTRUCT BEFORE FUSTRATING THEM AND WASTING THEIR TIME".

    I have been trying to register my Predator G6-710 since June of 16 and have even gon around with customer service and my product is still not registered. The website operates like the new version of PredatorSEnse. Not!!

     

    I have entered the SNID and the S/N to no avail. Sometimes it says that there is a problem and other times it says that the computer will be registered within 24 hours. Just BS in my opinion. Still not registered to my account.

     

    Maybe somebody in tech support can push this registration  through. I am about ready to let best buy have this box back and they can deal with Acer's Customer No Service.
