Hi everyone,

First of all, sorry for my language, I'm French.

Here's the issue. As a try to reset my PC an error occured. Then, the classic method to reset the PC doesn't work anymore and I have the message : "I looks like Windows didn't load correctly".

So I selected "advanced options" and try to reset the PC with a bootable USB with an iso of windows 10 (I made it with Rufus and the official tool of microsoft). But after a few seconds... "This PC doesn't have an USB boot option, please select an other option". And the only option available is the classic reset pre-installed in the PC, which doesn't work.

So, I'm kinda lost. I have already try every options possible in the BIOS to enable USB Boot but it doesn't work.

Nor the solution proposed in an other topic.

Please help !

First things first... IIRC the Switch 10 has a 32 bit OS load. Did you put the 32 bit version on your USB drive? The 64 bit version will not match the signed loader needed. Also make sure that Rufus is making the correct UEFI drive type, I believe it needs to be GMT not the default MBR. Finally the BIOS might have a Secure Boot option that could require changing...

    Thanks for the answer !

Secure Boot is disabled and I have the 32 bit version on my usb drive. I'm not sure it was GMT, so I do it again and there is some progress : some commands shows up a few seconds on the screen and now it freeze on the "Acer explore beyond limits" screen. It's been 15 minutes. I don't know what it means and I am still waiting...

Also I choose "NTFS" as file system, maybe should it be "FAT32" ?

Nope, NTFS works for pretty much any Windows install. Other OSes sometimes need FAT32 but not Windows.

Some news : finally, after a dozen of trials the computer booted from USB. I didn't change any parameter and I don't know how this happened but I am happy Smiley Very Happy

But there is still some issues. As I managed to find and update most of the drivers, some are still missing and the touchscreen is not working. Any idea about this ?

I would download and install Platform driver and Quick Access from Acer. Then go to Device Manager and check for Sensors drivers update.

Thanks for the advice. The platforms drivers seems to set up properly but still no touchscreen.

As for the Acer Quick Acces, the computer can't stop "RMSvc" process and that's why the install failled. And I can't see this process in the "Process manager".

I've already try to manually update all drivers from the "drivers manager" but nothing improve

EDIT : maybe a clue : every time I launch the computer, I have this message

    "Update Cypress

    New Version : 12

    Flashing Progress xxx percent - Re-try 2

Cap sensor update FW fail or don't plug"
