Can't Shutdown Windows 10 Laptop with Power Button

I have an Aspire E5-532 laptop with Windows 10. I have configured Power Management to shutdown the laptop when I push the Power Button.
This does NOT work. When I push the power button, nothing happens.
HELP!

I figured it out. You have to push the power button for a couple of seconds for the system to recognize the button push. When you do that everything works correctly.
