    I have an Acer Aspire R 14 with no external mic jack, but need to connect one urgently. How can I:

    1) Do this?

    2) In such a way that it has no problems with the current internal laptop mic?

      Hi Alan,

       

      You'll need this kind of adapter. No problems with the internal microphone. When you'll plug in the adapter, this one will be detected and "cut off" the internal one.
