Hello!
Can anyone please tell me which part is the GPU of this board:

Is it the one that is right next to CPU socket or the one below with the metal casing covering it?
I need to change the board of my Acer laptop, but i need one with 740M GeForce. So is the 740m integrated onto the board, or is it changeable? And can anyone please help me find a board with Nvidia 740M (or better)? Ebay and Alibaba ads don't specify any of having this GPU.
Thanks!

Hello,
- Which is the exact model of your laptop?
Could you give me the first ten characters of the computer serial number (S/N)? Only the first ten.

Hello!
NBMEB11001
Will this board fit into my laptop if it was replaced?

NBMEB11001 is the part number of your motherboard.
- Do you own an Aspire V3-771G?
- Do you use the pre-installed version of Windows (shipped with your laptop)?

Hello! S/N:

Yes, i have V3-771G with Windows 8 preinstalled.
Now all of the above aside, does the aliexpress motherboard fit? I heard there's some VGA interface differences at play here, but what does that exactly mean? They are all described as V3-771G boards, though.

The license key is located inside of the bios of the motherboard. The Windows license is linked with your motherboard. You have to buy this one from Acer or an Acer partner.
NB.MEB11.001 MAIN BD.DIS.N14PGEOP-4GB (N14P GE OP is Nvidia chipset) Windows OEM license:
SpoilerMicrosoft OEM:
"Generally, an end user can upgrade or replace all of the hardware components on a computer—except the motherboard—and still retain the license for the original Microsoft OEM operating system software. If the motherboard is upgraded or replaced for reasons other than a defect, then a new computer has been created. Microsoft OEM operating system software cannot be transferred to the new computer, and the license of new operating system software is required. If the motherboard is replaced because it is defective, you do not need to acquire a new operating system license for the PC as long as the replacement motherboard is the same make/model or the same manufacturer's replacement/equivalent, as defined by the manufacturer's warranty.
The reason for this licensing rule primarily relates to the Microsoft Software License Terms and the support of the software covered by those terms. The Microsoft Software License Terms are a set of usage rights granted to the end user by the PC manufacturer, and relate only to rights for that software as installed on that particular PC. The system builder is required to support the software on the original PC. Understanding that end users, over time, upgrade their PCs with different components, Microsoft needed to have one base component "left standing" that would still define the original PC. Since the motherboard contains the CPU and is the "heart and soul" of the PC, when the motherboard is replaced (for reasons other than defect) a new PC is essentially created. The original system builder did not manufacture this new PC, and therefore cannot be expected to support it."0 -

Hello,
Ok. I found two motherboards with the same Nvidia chipset:

When you buy a new motherboard, it's very important to see the sticker located near the memory slots.
E.g NBM7Q11001... or NBMEB11001... The S/N of the motherboard. It's not the case of your link (AE webpage masked this information so I have a big doubt).
