    I think you'll find, if you research it, that the biggest issue with SD cards is that Google no longer lets you install apps to them. Nothing to do with Acer, since pretty much every other Android device with as new of OS version has the same 'issue'.

    No. My Sony Z3 phone, first with 5 and now with 6, let me install some apps. And what about to save, for example, Spotify offline data?. And to set the sd card as default for downloads?. You are wrong.

    The key is 'some apps'. If the app developer supports running from the SD card then there should be a 'move to SD' option in the app. Nothing to do with which phone/tablet manufacturer you have, just an option the app developer can do. Google frowns on it, but some developers d it anyway. I don't use Spotify, but if they support offline storage of data they should have a user option to select the SD card.

     

    I use either Winamp or Music on my phone and tablets, they all support my music stored on the SD card...
