Hi, I'm trying to figure out what type of memory I have so that I can get a 2nd dimm and upgrade it my aspire laptop.  My computer shows that I have 8GB DDR3 L Memory, and I downloaded CPU-Z and it says that i have Kingston part# ACR16D3LS1KNG/8G (PC3-12800, 800mhz, DDR3, 8192MBytes).  However, when running a search on Kingston's site or the web, I can't find that part number and most of the 8gb memory that I find is 1600mhz, not the 800mhz that CPU-Z says my max bandwidth is.  I'm assuming that I can't use two different speeds.  Does anyone know if the memory information displayed is correct for this laptop or how to proceed from here to get a 2nd dimm to upgrade?

Thanks in advance!!

    Hello,

    Your laptop supports up to 16Gb - DDR3L - 1600MHz (2x8Gb).

    • One memory module, it works in single channel (1600/2=800MHz).
    • Two memory modules, they works in dual channel so 1600MHz.

    Compatible memory modules:

    Kingston

    France
