cursor won't move when using the touch pad
My touch pad is not working. Was fine a few days ago. Has some setting gone wrong. I am very computer illiterate.

What's the make and model of the laptop? Disconnect the mains( AC adapter) remove the battery, press power button for few seconds, install the battery, connect the mains and try starting.

OK, go to acer support site and download the necessary driver, you need to find out whether you have Synaptics or Elan touchpad in your laptop.
http://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/drivers
download the driver and save it in desktop.
To find out the touchpad make, go to device manager(right click start), right click your touchpad device and uninstall it in Driver tab, install the driver you downloaded and see whether it fixes the problem, you can use windows 8.1 driver as there are no drivers for Win 10.
