HI Gazza1202
You need a low profile graphics card, like this:
However you need a minimum of 300 watt power supply to run it. Also check the dimensions will fit your case (should do!) Tech details here:

Click on the specifications tab for full details.
Just check your power supply unit is 300 watt or just search for a lower wattage card (low profile) that matches your existing supply.

ive just looked up about a new power supply and it seems that my pc isnt built for gaming and that it would burn out my motherboard if i fitted anything to it looks like the best thing to do would be to leave it the way it is.
if this is true then could u please confirm as im not brilliant with this sort of thing
if not do u have any ideas what peices of hardware would fit in the pc i have

I'd agree your PC isn't a gaming model, other than simple graphic games. With regards to burning out your motherboard, that could happen only if you installed a power hungry graphics card with a low wattage power supply.
All that would happen if you tried to run a graphic heavy game is:
1. It simply wouldn't install - you would likely get an error message stating your PC is not compatible
2. It would run as quick as a tortoise with a leg injury
As I've said before you need to buy a graphics card that is lower power than your power supply, or increase the power supply. However the power supply for your model (because it is a small form PC) is not so easy to buy.
I think perhaps it might be worth leaving things as they are or ask at your local PC shop if they can perform the upgrade for you.
