Update your bios to the current version and don't install XP.

Did you know XP has no support from Microsoft and Acer?

I believe if you get XP installed, you're going to have a lot of problems with drivers.

i see. im having a hard time finding for a solution to a program that ive just installed. whenever i run this pre requisite installer "windowsinstaller-kb8938-v2-x86.exe", it leads me to a setup error message "not enough storage is available to process this command." and whenever i run the program called "FINDES" which is a program used by our office, i get an error message like " the Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 provider is not registered on the local machine." please do help me with my problem. thank you.

p.s. my OS - Windows 8.1 single language, processor, intel core i5, RAM - 8gb, system type, 64-bit operating system, x64based processor.

    Good day. God bless.

hmmm. is there a possible way that it would run in vista or windows 7 32 bit operating system?

The problem is it won't run in a 64 bit system so it must run in a 32 bit system.

Check your bios and see if it supports virtualization. You could run a 32 bit Windows in virtualBox on the computer and run the program in it.
