Hi all,

I have a problem with my XB271HU, I tested it on Win 8.1 and Win 10.

My configuration is:

Mobo: Asus Sabertooth x99

CPU: i7 5960x

GPU: Gtx980 Ti G1 Gigabyte

RAM: 32GB Ripjaws V@3000mhz

PSU: Corsair AX860

Sometimes (pretty often) I see a strange artifact: simply is like monitor is split in 2 parts, the right part is perfect, the left part is cropped and translated to the right, i post a screen that I've reproducted to show the problem, because if i make a screenshot during the problem it print me just a blackscreen.

Thank You in advice!

    Hello,

Based on what you are saying, in my opoin it is not a DRIVER issue. Sounds like your setings are not correct. In the New windows you have this option to split the screns. This is something that Apple has been doing for awhile now. But it would not hurt to check your drivers to make sure they are up to date.

Another way to check and make sure that it is not your computer at fault, you can check the Event Viewer, this is were all trouble codes are stored for the computer. They are called Event ID numbers, if you do have a problen a trouble code will be listed, and telling you what it is that is causing the problem. You can take this Event ID online to learn more of what is going on.

If you have found this to be of help to you, please hit that solve button. Thank you, for alowing me to help you in this problem.

I would like to say that this is not a driver issue. A lot of people (including me) have this issue running the newest drivers. I also run a second monitor on the same GTX 1080 with no problems whatsoever. Some official word on this would be REALLY appreciated.
