My schools district has nearly 5000 Chromebooks, we need to create an in house repair program that will allow us to quickly get the devices back in the hands of students.  How to we get certified to make repairs and orders parts in house from ACER.

Please advise asap.

I would bet you are going to have to contact Acer to get an answer to that one. The community is unlikely to know...

    Hi Carl,

If you'll send me your contacting information in a private message, I can forward it over to the right people and they can follow up with you.

    Thanks,
    Cory

    Sorry Carl,

My original contact was no longer available. I've got a new contact and I've sent the information over. I'll also follow up by the end of this week to ensure some movement.

    Thanks,
    Cory

    Hi Carl,

I received word that your school is part of our program at some level. Someone should be reaching out to you (and the contact person we currently have on file) to make sure everything is in order.

I'm in the same boat as cbehmer.  By the next school year we will have ~1000 Chromebooks in our district.  I would like to get certified to repairs in house.  Please let me know when I can/should do to move forward with this.

    Thanks!

We're also looking to do in-house repairs for our school district.  We're approaching 1000 chromebooks and find the time involved to warranty a Chromebook just for them to reseat an LCD cable or replace a trackpad to be a tad frustrating.

Cori - I tried to message you but got a 404 error about not having privileges for a resource or it's parent.  Will you let me know how I can get in touch?

    Thanks,

    Sean

    Hi,

I tried to private message, but got an error message.

I am also looking for information on how we can get someone trained to repair our Acer Chromebooks.  We have approximately 1200 devices for our school district.  Any information would be a huge help.

    Thank you!

    Hi mkgallo,

You have to make a post to the community before you're able to send a private message (this is done to prevent spammers).  Now that you've made a post to the community, you should be able to send a PM so feel free to try again.
