Gateway NE56R13B processor upgrade

Hello everybody,
I bought a notebook from Gateway model NE56R13B by the Americanas.com site on 14/08/2013. The model in question came with the Intel Core i5 3230M processor. (Serial NXY28AL005***).
I would like you to inform me if this notebook supports any of the following processor models:
I7-3632QM
i7-3720QM
I7-3740QM
i7-3820QM
I7-3840QM

I updated the BIOS yesterday nevertheless the I7 didn't work. I appreciate your attention.

Hello,
Aspire E1-571 has the same motherboard and the same thermal module than yours. The bios versions are apparently identical (Gateway/Acer).

Hi!,
I bougth an Intel I7 3632qm SR0V0. After I changed it my notebook didn't boot up. It just turn on the power light. I returned the old processor and the notebook worked normally.
Is there any difference between Intel processors? Must I buy a processor with the PNs you wrote or can I buy anyone? May I need to update the BIOS?

By the way, the motherboard part number is Q5WV1 LA-7912P Rev. 2.0.

First you'll find a white sticker near the memory slots. There is a string of characters under the bar code.

Hello,
First at all never show your full serial number of your laptop on the websites. Let only the first ten.
You have actually the bios version 2.15. You should update it to the version 2.21 as you have Windows 8/8.1 and make a new test with the new processor. Unfortunately there is no Linux versions only Windows versions.

Sorry about serial. Do you believe that the verion 2.21 will let me use the I7 CPU? I didn't found any release notes in web about this BIOS version. Do you have it?
