acer 1 chromebook not working

It is a blank screen and yes it is charged. Having trouble fixing it. I have a Mac computer and I try to download the BIOS firmware and it will not let me. Help!!

  If nothing will come on the screen, I suggest contacting Acer tech support in your region to look into repair options.
