Hi,

When I start the laptopt I get the classical Black screen : no logo, leds turn up, fan works. The problem is that it doesn't happen always. Changed the RAM, put an additional 7200 1TB and 128 GB SSD, tried the 30 sec power with  no battery  but still the same. Suggestions what I should try next?

if you are able to boot to windows (since black screen doesn't happen always), try to update BIOS to the latest version 1.15:

THX. It seems that it has worked for the moment. I gave it a couple of restarts, and it starts without a problem. I hope that this was the issue, and it wasn't the Intel video card.

It is an .exe . I used it and haven't had any problems since then

You were still able to enter windows, on some black screen issues is not possible and the exe can't be used.
Qwe12a12 needs to find out how to do a BIOS recovery procedure

Does the reset of the motherboard by removing the battery from it, still work?

Worth a try but i'm quite sure that will not awake the black monitor.

    Hi,

have you find a solution to flash the bios with v1.15?
