Problems going above 120hz on a XB271HU

Hi,

I bought a XB271HU recently, and have problems getting it over 120hz.

Before getting it, i've been using the 144hz 24" philips monitor without problems. All my drivers are updated, so how come I can't run 144hz or the 165hz that I overclocked it to?

My setup is;
GTX Titan Black

16GB Ram

i5-4670K

730W Powersupply
- Shouldn't this be more than plenty? (I can give you the rest, if necessary)

How do I resolve this problem?

Best Regards,

    are you using display port?

check also on nvidia control panel if screen frequency can be set to 144Hz.

    Hi IronFly,

Yes. I'm using the cable that followed with the monitor.

    - And yes, it's not there. I took a screenie, for you to see, even tho it's in danish, i'm sure you can guess what it is. Smiley HappyNVIDIA CONTROL PANEL SETTINGS

check if ULMB is turned OFF

    it's on monitor settings

check also that G-sync is ON, nvidia control panel

please update nvidia drivers to the latest if possible.

    Ok.
Last thing to try is to uninstall nvidia drivers with a tool like DDU in safe mode.
Then reboot and install nvidia drivers again.

Tried that aswell. Didn't work ;-/

    - I've heard some people talk about it, being because my GPU is last generation, and maybe doesn't support it? Just sound kinda retarded, when it worked fine with the phillips monitor. And for gods sake, its a GTX Titan Black? >_<

i doubt that can be the real issue...

would you mind to try another DP cable?

    Hi,

Don't have any @home, but I guess i'll go buy one at some point.. Don't think its that either, when its working fine, and its the one that came with such an expensive monitor..? They should've atleast made it able to run the 144hz, it's supposed to run with.
