VN7-791G Network Adapter Related BSOD's
Just a bit of additional info the computer still boots up fine and connects to Wi-Fi sometimes but other times the adapter will show up as not being connected to the laptop at all

Did you ever update the wifi driver?
check on Device manager if your wifi adapter is ar5bwb222 or ar5bwb344 and download the correct driver from Acer support website:
http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/5615;-;Aspire%20VN7-791G

The only Qualcomm atheros adapter in mine is qca61x40

So the network adapter has completely vanished from the device manager now0

Going to do a reset and not update to windows 100

So forget the last 2 posts my network adapter is in my device manager but is registered as unplugged0

are you able to re-enable?
right click it and choose enable
try also to reboot.
please report it's hardwareID too:
double click on it
choose "Details" tab
from dropdown menu, select HardwareIDs

So ive just got home from uni where i was when the adapter was not showing as being connected and is now working and im able to connect to the internet wirelessly again The Hardware ID is PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_003E&SUBSYS_E08E105B&REV_20

ok, download this drivers:
click on Download
double click on the self extracting package and then look for setup or install exe

Nothing seemed to help in the long run mate just ended up buying a different wireless card well a usb one infact
