My Acer Icona A3-A10 gives error message when I am in settings. It says unfortunately settings has stopped working. It only does it when I try to change display settings but not when I choose something else in settings to change. Dpn't know how to fix it. Does anyone have the answer for me?

backup your personal data and do a factory reset:

settings/bakcup&reset - factory data reset (all your personal data will be erased)

I did find a place where they said to choose settings on the app tray, hold it down and get app info and delete data there. Is that also the same thing you are saying? I think from what I could tell that would clear out all data but don't know if it would only be from the display as that is the only one that gives the message. All the rest of the items in settings show as they should when I choose them. So if that is the basic same things you are talking about can I back up on an SD card?

not the same thing, do as i wrote it, my instructions is to set your device as it was from factory, so everything will be erased from the internal memory, even your personal settings.

you can backup your data on the SD card.
