VN7-792G CPU temperatures

I've found the laptop increases its' fan speed quite often. Even when not doing anything intensive (games, emulators, installing,...). It seems to me this happens whenever the CPU goes into turbo boost, which is way too often from what I can see...The sound from the fans is quite loud and obtrusive to my coworkers. Is there anything that can help with this? It does look like cooling is a bit shady for these laptops.

go to your power options, change your current plan settings, click the advanced section, expand the Processor Power Management section, click the Maximum Processor State, and change it to something other than 100%.

Would that affect the laptop's performance as well?

Just change it to 99% and see.
