I am having problems adressing Windows Error 28 on this laptop for the device noted above.

Device is identified with yellow triangle containing exclamation point

I have attempted "Update driver" with no success.

I have attempted uninstalling the device and rebooting with no success.

I have done several searches seeking a driver for this device but have had no success.

The device itself appears in Windows Device Manager under "Other devices".  2 other items also appear in this group:

000eSMS/MMS

Bluettoth  Peripheral Device.
Both of these are identified with question marks.

Windows is unable to update either of these 2 devices also.

Windows 10 forums have been unable to assist with this.

Any suggestion on repairing this error would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance -

Terry  Davidson

on device manager, check about a Bluetooth adapter, if it's listed, please post if it's Atheros or Broadcom and report hardwareID too.

those 2 devices are part of Bluetooth adapter - software suite.

or you can try to install the BT drivers from the ES1-520 support page:

    Hi -

    Thanks for your reply.

I corrected the error with the PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller via this link I discovered after posting here:

    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25236/Intel-TXE-Intel-Trusted-Execution-Engine-driver-for-DE3815TYKHE-DN2820FYKH

I followed your link and downloaded and installed drivers for both Atheros and Broadcom since Device Manager was unable to identify the hardware beyond what has been noted.

The question mark remains for both of those bluetooth devices, but Windows says they are working properly.  I'm thinking these devices may be for a USB dongle that I have since stopped using.

Thanks for your help - I appreciate it!
