Touchpad problem

I just bought ASPIRE E5-511-C0PC with win 8.1.  I upgraded to Win10 as this was offered as soon as I finished booting up.  Touchpad still worked fine.  Then i upgraded drivers from the Acer Care Center.  That seems to be when my touchpad fails to respond at all.  Without plugging in a USB mouse, I don't even get a cursor.  This was Feb 23, 2016

In this case, it is recommended to reinstall touchpad drivers from the link below and check if that helps:

If the issue persists even after reinstalling touchpad drivers, you can try performing System Restore to restore your system to a point in time when it was working fine. While doing this, make sure that you select only that restore point when your touchpad was working fine after upgrading to Windows 10. To know how to perform System Restore, refer to the instructions mentioned on the link below:

    Hope this will help you.

Try removing the touchpad from Device manager. It should be listed in the mouse and pointing devices section. Once you have removed the listings in device manager, detatch your USB mouse and restart your system. Windows should detect and install the correct driver. If it does not, try downloading the driver and reinstalling from our website. Let me know if this doesn't resolve your issue and we can look into other troubleshooting.
