V3-574-309U (aspire V 15) No bootable Device
I have had my new laptop for 2 days. I was using it and it froze and then switched itself off and now says no bootable device. Can anyone help me?

it means that you had an HDD failure or HDD controller issue, so the only way to fix it is to call Acer support service.

at boot try to tap on F2 key and check if you are able to enter BIOS, once in the BIOS main page, check if SSD or HDD is listed.

so HDD model and HDD serial number are empty?
if they are empty...your HDD is gone; i strongly suggest you to call Acer support service.

on the information side it just says : HDD Mode 1 name: none HDD Serial number....is blank and then ATAP 1 Mode 1 Name: none. if there is nothing on their on the information page what does it mean? On main page it says Network Boot, F12 Boot menu, wake on LAN is disabled. Lid open resume and D2D Recovery Enabled
