XB270HU monitor, on screen display

in 2016 Archives

When i press a button to go into the on screen display  I dont get the display like I have seen  every where else , my display  comes up in black and white, it pops up with 5 boxes and is only about an inch in height all the other monitor displays I have seen come up with the Acer logo and the display is a lot bigger and is blue in color, is there a way I can change to the latter. Only had the monitor a few days so still trying to work it all out,  the build date on the box is Sep 2015

    thanks for reply, but Ive no idea what your saying hdmi 4k etc , can you enlighten me , this is not a 4k monitor, hdmi not sure what you mean there, are you talking about the connection betwen the pc and the monitor if so its display port

    Nope never found out anything , I talked to Acer via there chat line, they where as helpfull as a chocolate fire guard, I sent them couple of snapshots on how the menu comes up, they said that if the monitor works theres no problem with it, I told them that the monitor works ok but why the different menu set up, they could not answer me, I ended up telling them where to go and ended  the call. when i get a chance I will take a couple of pics and put them up on here for you to see
