Ram upgrade on Acer Aspire 5755g-2678G1TMtks

Hi everyone , i am having problem to upgrade my laptop's ram from 4GB ddr3 1333mhz to kingston 4x2 4GB ddr3 1333mhz, the problem is my laptop using the old 2R which is old model ddr3 . If i change to much newer ddr3 1R (the ddr3 we can found today at any shop) , will it support on my laptop ?

    If your using 32bit OS then 4gb max. If your using 64bit OS then 8gb max and either Ram will work for your system

     

    From kingston Ram both are listed and one the 1R is being phased out but still able to be bought same price as the other 2R
