Hi All

I CURRENTLY HAVE THE ABOVE LAPTOP,UNFORTUNATLEY AND ANNOYINGLY EVERY TIME I VISIT A WEBPAGE I GET "not responding"I TAKES A FEW SECS/MINS TO LOAD DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THIS ANNNOYING PROBLEM? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ADVICE.

    Hello, Is this a new issues/System for you? Are you connecting VIA the same ISP every time you are having this issue?

     

    Are you using your ISP or are you connected to another persons? It almost sounds like a couple of different things...

     

    One, IT almost sounds like your computer is to far from the Router (ISP) connection. 

     

    Two, If your close to the connection it could be that your Router is in a HIgh Traffic Area where there are loads of other Routers fighting over the same CH.. There are only CH 1-11 for the 2.4ghz. 

     

    Three, If your having issues when you first start your computer it could be that MS is doing Updates and that is taking up your CPU, RAM, and Connection...

     

    Below may help with solving the issue if they are as stated above.

    For 1, Move the computer closer to the Wifi connection,

    2, log into your Wifi Router and check the Chan that it is on. IF set to Auto change it from 1 though 11 and see what you get better access with. If it is on say 6 then leave it on Ch 6.

    3 Leave the computer on for a couple of Min while UPdates are running, Make a Pot of Tea or Coffee, When done it should be able to run more smoothly...
