W3-810 Driver Power State Failure Error (BSOD)

I have a Iconia W3-810 that I upgraded to Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. During a recent upgrade to Office 2016, I got a Blue Screen and an error message that a Driver Power State Failure had occurred and the computer needed to reboot. After a short while, the computer rebooted and I was able to complete the installation of Office 2016. I seem to remember getting this error while upgrading to Windows 10. Recently, while watching a YouTube video, the tablet locked up and I got the Blue Screen again, with the same "Driver Power State Failure" error again. I check the Device Manager and noticed that in the "System Devices" all of the "Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework (DPTF)" related drivers had yellow flags stating the drivers were not operating correctly. When I tried to update the drivers I get a message back that the most current drivers are installed.

Does anyone have any recommendations for fixing this issue? Do I need to uninstalled all the DPTF related drivers and reinstall? Thanks.

Update: I rolled back all of the DPTF drivers in Device Manager to version 6.2.9200.30457 and then rebooted the computer. I tested the computer to see if I could cause a BSOD Driver Power State Failure that occured earlier today and it did not reoccur. Hopefully this solved the problem. Thanks.

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?

Thanks. I tried updating the driver software in Device Manager, but it always comes back telling me that I have the most current driver software installed. Is there another way to udpate the driver software? Do I need to uninstall the software and then reinstall. I don't have a lot of experience updating drivers.

BTW, I used the tablet last night with Netflicks for around an hour and it worked fine.

I was mistaken in assuming I had fixed the "Driver Power State Failure" BSOD by rolling back the drivers. I experienced another driver power state failure today. Not sure what to do now.

Can anyone help me to identify in a .dmp file what caused the "Driver Power State Failure" that I experienced several with my W3-810 tablet? I also need some help with how to upload the .dmp file. Thanks.

I got a recommendation from the Microsoft Community to uninstall Norton Security (using the Norton Removal Tool) and just use Windows Defender for anti-virus protection. After removing Norton Security, I used the Tablet for about 6 hours straight with no BSOD "Driver Power State Failure" errors. So far it seems to have done the trick.
