why hard drive configuration is not set to factory default?

i have acer one 10 s100x, but i cannot restore factory setting. please help me to fix it. i try to create USB recovery partition but it's say "some required file are missing" why?

This ships with WIndows 8, right? So, I'd assume any factory settings would be that.

if it gives you the same error, probably something went wrong on system files or recovery, the only way to fix it is to buy an official Acer USB recovery media:
