Hi,

I have my E5-772G for about 2 months now. The wireless connection breaks every 2 or 3 hours. The internet access window at bottom right does not find any wireless connection after the connection break.  I tried all troubleshootings I could find but nothing foxed the problem.

    seb538,

    1. Did you upgrade the notebook to Windows 10, if so, did the problem exist before the upgrade?
    • If so, did it have this problem fromt he beginning or just recently start?
    • If recent, have you tried a system restore to when it was working?

    1. First troubleshooting step I can think of; remove the drivers, restart, let Windows install the drivers.
    2. Another would be to download the drivers from our website, remove the drivers completely, run the installation file for the downloaded drivers.

First of all, don't make fun of my user name.  I DO know how to spell.  The "s" at the end disappeared somehow before I completed my user profile set-up, and I obviously didn't notice it. I need to change my user name, but in the meantime, I did still want to post this.

I'm having the same issue with my brand new E5-573G.  It's only 5 days old, and I shouldn't be having this issue.

The Acer help desk told me the same thing--to reinstall the drivers, but I pointed out that the drivers are dated July and November 2015, and my laptop was manufactured in December 2015, so why would I need to reinstall drivers that are older than my laptop?  That didn't make sense to me, and of course, he didn't provide an adequate response, unfortunately.

I didn't reinstall drivers, but instead, I went into Device Manager and updated the Qualcomm Atheros wireless adapter.  That was an hour ago. I haven't had any issues since, but I hope that does the trick.
