it takes quite some time for the arrow to stop moving around the board before i am able to tap into anything.  No idea how to stop this.

What Intel driver do you have for the display adapter and what is your mouse (pointer) driver  ? I have seen older drivers do all kinds of strange things.

Unfortunately my R3 is still about a week away.

OK my R3-131T-P344 arrived and took about 10 hours to set up the way I like but seems I have finally found a replacement for my Aspire One 532h.

Took about an hour to upgrade Win 10-64 to build 1511/10586 and running Intel HD Graphics driver 10.18.15.4248. Displays 1920x1080 very nicely on a  five year old 24" monitor.

Upgrading the memory to 8GB took about 15 minutes and noticed the hard disk looks like a standard 7mm SATA so thinking about a 250GB Samsung EVO SSD for under $100. Wonder if the controller can handle about 800 MB/s

Part of the problem here is that some R3-131Ts are 32 bit N3050s with 2 GB of memory and others are 64 bit N3700s with 4 GB. Vastly different computers.

So back at the start, have see the pointer darting issue before but not on this R3-131T-P344.
