Takes 30+ minutes to load! Help!

Aspire AXC-603G-UW 15, Windows 10. Came with 8.1. Began to have difficulty updating Windows then just "errors." Takes 30 + minutes to start up and super slow to do anything. I'm talking 10 minutes to open an app. Tried resetting x 2 and restore but same problems. Tried to correct problem on troubleshooting section on control panel but still no luck. Thinking I will have to reinstall Windows. How do I do that? I have no Windows program disks. Thanks

Right click Task bar & click Task Manager.
Do you see anything with very high % CPU/Memory/Disk/Network?
If yes what is that app or background process?
If no then proceed further.
Is there any recent hardware change in the system, try disconnecting unwanted hardware like external storage devices.
If your system worked well previously and you have system restore enabled try to restore to a previous date. (I suspect this does not apply to you so skip ahead)
Backup data
You may try below steps to prepare Windows 10 setup on a flash drive on another working computer (Considering your system is working too slow)

8. If this is not an option or you get stuck into Windows 10 activation issues, it's better to reinstall your previous version of windows and then do an upgrade to Windows 10.
