    • lite on combo sohc 5236v not working, what can it be replaced by

    My LiteOn combo SOHC5236V has decided to stop working, it no longer opens when I want it open , but does open randomly at other times.

    What would be an alternative to replace the unit?

    Or is there a simple solution to fix the problem?

      It is helpful to let the community know the following:

      What computer do you have?
      What operating system is on the computer?

      If the system is in warranty, the drive can be replaced under warranty. 

      If not, you are free to choose the drive you would like to install.
