My wife has an Acer Aspire One (Model KAV10 with XP on a 160GB drive).
Recently, a 5 year old running amock in the departures lounge at Toronto Airport managed to catch the power cord and pulled the Aspire One onto the floor. It appears that the only damage to the computer was the corruption of the MBR record on the hard drive.
I've managed to recover the PQService partition, and it seems OK, but the rest of the partition table information seems to be trashed.
Can anybody with a KAV10 supply me with a copy of their MBR so I can at least attempt a hand reconstruction of the MBR before I resort to blowing all the data away and starting again?
