Original as in? Is it random which one i get in my laptop?
Would be good to buy the the same memory as is already installed when i buy a second module, if the exisiting module is any good.
Otherwise i'll just buy two new 8GB ones.
Thanks for finding out the 1600 MHz speed!

Yes - Is it random which one i get in my laptop?
Yes that will be Kingston or Hynix or Samsung (other information) - Would be good to buy the the same memory as is already installed when i buy a second module, if the exisiting module is any good?
Yes buy the same module would be better for dual channel and the compatibility. E.g. Hynix has often a problem of compatibility with the others brands.
