Acer Aspire 3810TZ RAM BRAND question

I am just curious if Acer laptops come with same branded RAM. 

I have an Acer Aspire 3810TZ laptop to be exact and I noticed that my ram is 2 different brands.

 

One brand is Samsun 2gb
and the other is Elpida 1gb
Total of 3gb ram.

 

So does Acer supply brand new computers/laptops with different branded rams in the same computer/laptop?

Also does this laptop usually come with 3gb or 4gb ram brand new?

    Did you get this new? Many originally came with 2 X 1gb. Should take up to 2 x 4gb.

    Yes I bought this brand new but I think there was a theft after I sent the laptop for repair. 

     

    Reason 1: It came with ram cards that are different brands. Im asking others (even Acer) to confirm if they give ram cards with different brands within the same laptop. 

     

    Samsung 2gb Ram
    Elpida 1gb Ram

    Total =3gb Ram

     

    Reason 2: Theres 3 gigs of ram but I see that this product originally carries 4gb of ram.

    When was the purchase made or better yet mfr date? Do you have any kind of bill of sale or ad indicating that it was equipped with 4gb, likely but not 100% surely in a matched pair of 2gb modules. Earliest versions seem to have 2gb, again likely in a matched pair of 1gb modules. I suppose this doesn't rule out a vendor who sells a machine as new but not necessarily as the vendor originally received it with all the factory-installed components
