Since it's not happening during video playback it miht be tied to a specific app. Can you try with a different app?

    Thanks for the reply

Yeah that might be true but it has to be something running in the background and i cant really close all running processes one by one right?

Since the error doesnt occure while watching videos or using the speakers - i guess, i noticed that it has to be something with the notification volume (dont know the exact name in english). When I change the volume while playing music and press the "bell" symbol the error also occurs.

Which app are you using to play the music? Try a different one to verify it's that specific app and perhaps try a reset (back up first) to see if the bad app gets fixed. Once you point at a specific app we might be able to fix it.

The problem isnt actually changing the music volume, because when i got any video or music running i can change that perfectly fine. (The volume bar occurs and works BUT when i want to switch to notification volumes by pressing the "bell" symbol on this bar the error also shows)

But when no app is running and i press the buttons, it should normally change the notification volume and there is the problem (didnt know that first sorry).

So basically the error occurs when i want to change the notification volume over the buttons. I can change them in the options though.

Thats why I am quite sure those apps (facebook, youtube,...) are not the reason.

So it sounds like that portion of the OS is corrupted somehow. Make sure your data is backed up and do a full reset to see if that will clear it up.

    Hello,

I just got tha tablet twice. Both of them have that problem. Kind of annoying. How did you get the new update that solved the bug?

I got a notification that the new update was available.

But you can check manually through the options (Options - About tablet - System updates)

thanx, but that didn't work - there was an update available but didn't fix the bug.

@ Acer: Any other solutions ?

Ok - Update 3 worked - but still a NO GO - will write about this in my Amazon review!!!!

So - the volume bug is solved.  Another bug occured though. If I want to check the battery status in options - it crushes again.

    Bugs exchanged - sucks.
