Thanx for help, I have the t9600 but was scared to use it not much faster but has 6mg L2 cache and shoul be great. now if I could use mor than 4 mgs memory it would be great. Do you know a way?

The Acer specification is:
Your laptop supports up to 2 GB of DDR2 667 MHz memory, upgradeable to 4 GB using two sodimm modules.
AND
The Mobile Intel PM965 Express chipset (yours) specification is: Up to 4Gb - DDR2 - 553 or 667MHz.
Sorry it's not possible. You already have the maximum.
