Acer Iconia One 7 (B1-730), any way to move apps to SD card?

OK, so I have checked some of the other forum answers, but they're mostly for other models and pretty much all of the answers are some form of rooting the tablet. I would prefer not to, but I would like to free up internal storage space since I only use my tablet for apps and games. Right now I have a 32gb external SD card, but nothing is saving to my SD card except for pictures. Is there a way to move my games to my SD card without ruining warranty? I did see something about being able to move files in the Astro file manager, but I don't want to do anything before I get another opinion. Unfortunately, I'm the only person I know that isn't technology handicapped lol, and my knowledge is extremely limited and most of it is geared towards computers, not tablets. Any help is extremely appreciated!

If you have KitKat or above, Google implimented a change to block that because of security. Acer has nothing to do with it.

Though some app developers have implemented the 'move to SD' function. From Settings; Applications bring them up one at a time and see if the move function is available.

Regarding Google secruity block noted above.

Was that a change for Tablets only, because on my fone I can still do that, using latest Lollipop?

I have an Iconia One B3 A10 and need to do this as well, but the option is not there for ANY which is odd

It looks like you can't do it with any program above Jelly Bean. I don't think you can anything Android with Jelly Bean anymore. You might have some luck on local buy/sell groups on Facebook.

No it's not true. My Sony Z3 android 5 and 6 works with the sd card fine. The problem is acer's poor and cheap productos. If hacer knows that the tablet it's not going to work with the sd card, not promote the tablet with 32 gb micro sd support. It's a piece of garbage. Bye acer.

It's not just an acer thing. ANY device from any company running 4.4 does NOT have capability to move apps to external sd card. It is a change Google made when making the KITKAT OS. Some newer versions lollipop versions have brought the option back, and 6.0 gives you the option to format the card to adopt it as internal storage or keep it "portable". The same tablet running 4.3 can move apps, for people who bought the Iconia One after Acer switched to 4.4, they can not move apps. But they did sell them with 4.3 for a period of time before 4.4 was more widely available.

Been having the same problem for a long time now.  It is quite frustrating.  Got a response from Acer stating that yes this was originally placed by google.  However I have a Samsung also and it is able to move apps to the SD card running the same OS.  Basically Acer will not spend the $ to update this and Samsung has.

I can't trust Acer to make this change and as such this will be my last Acer tablet.  Samsung is quite a bit more $, however this limitation is not something I can overlook.  I have only a few apps installed and with each update, not enough storage.  Makes the cheaper price not worth it.  I would need 5 of these tablets to do the same as one equiped with this fuction.  Big fail in my opinion.
