I have reset the computer and reinstalled all the software.  Keyboard is still not recognized.  The keyboard worked to begin with but does not work anymore.    I have 6 of these machines and this is the second one this has happened to.  I called tech support and they could not help me so I sent the other one in for repair. Help?

Try going to Acer download site and install the Acer Quick Access. Open it and try connecting keyboard.

I installed Quick Access and opened it.  What must I do to get the the software to recognize the keyboard?

Make sure you have the latest BIOS. I know there was problem with some swiich models not allowing keyboard to connect. They had a file you can download by contacting Accer support.

I have installed the latest Bios right at the beginning of this problem.  When I called tech support all they could tell me to do was reload the operating system which is what I did.  I guess I will just have to send it in for repair although I know it is not a hardware problem.  I have switched out the keyboards with other Switch 11's I have and the keyboard works fine.  They should be able to tell me how to fix this but they do not seem to have tech support capability to handle this.  My problem is I have 5 other Switch 11's which are probably going to have the same problem and I will have to send them in everytime they cannot recognize the keyboard.   The is a poor way to provide tech support and it ends up with a dissatisfied customer.

I am wondering if I can delete all the drivers and reinstall them all from scratch if that might not correct the problem?  Would anyone reading this recommend this.

You could try updating drivers Firmware, Human interface Devices, and Keyboards in Decice Manager. You can also uninstall devices from there, then reboot and they will reinstall. You can first download Platform drivers package for your system and intall even if you get warning they are the same. You may just have a faulty hardware dock connection on your system.

Acer does not have a plateform driver package available on there site-where else might I find these?  The only driver on the site that might relate to the keyboard is a Serial IO driver or Dynamic Platefore and Thermal Framework Driver.  I tried these previously and they did not work but I will do it again.  I tried all of the items mentioned in the previous post and I do not think it is a hardware problem.  I swapped out the keyboard on another SW5 I have and it works great.  It could still be a hardware problem in the tablet but it worked fine to begin with and only stopped worked when my 5 yr old grandson removed the tablet from the keyboard without first shutting down the computer.

I tried all recommendations and have given up making the SW5 keyboard work.  Also, there is no add/remove hardware icon to click on prior to removing the tablet from the keyboard when powered up.  I have search many times and do not find a way to make this work in Windows 10.  I am sending the computer back for repair and will only remove the tablet from the keyboard when it is powered down.
