I noticed a lot of users having android 4.4.4 and i've been wondering why mine is 4.4.2? I've been wondering how to disable vibration when turning it on and off and how come the brightness level doesn't stay at the lowest settings? I've been forced to use lux lite to keep the brightness down.

Id also like to know what the differences between these 2 are?

I went with the 197c and was wondering if it was the right choice.

about 4.4.4, have you checked for any update?:

    settings/about tablet/ system updates

do a manual check and see if the system can find any.

about brightness, settings/display normally you can disable the automatic brightness and set your custom level

about on/off vibration, i'm not sure you can disable it but sometimes disable the haptic feedback will disable on/off vibration too. by the way on some system the on/off vibration is intended to warn users that system is booting or shutting down correctly.

I have run the manual update and it hasnt found anything other then the first update i under went when i bought it.

I dont think this version has an auto brightness funtion, i manually lower to the lowest but it doesn't stay after reboot.

Any idea on the version types and if the type i chose was the right one?
